Extra-Curricular Clubs
At West Leigh Infant School, we place great value on the extra-curricular opportunities that children have in school and offer a wide and rich extra-curricular provision. Clubs are a chance for children to try out a new activity, enjoy it and socialise with others while doing so. They also provide children with the chance to develop interests and talents in specific areas, such as baking, art and different sports.
We have a strong take up of the extra-curricular opportunities that are provided. Each year we monitor this take up and those children who may have attended fewer clubs are prioritised the following year. We also ask the children for their ideas about which clubs we can offer in future and do our best to make these happen!
We offer a variety of clubs both before school and after-school, delivered by either internal staff or external outside providers. The latest timetable is below:
