Welcome
We are a welcoming community infant school which has served families in West Leigh for over 100 years, we celebrated our Centenary in 2013. We are a safe, calm, caring, happy and purposeful school where high personal, social and academic standards are promoted. We want to make sure that every child will benefit from their time spent at West Leigh.
Every child is encouraged to meet the challenges of our complex society with understanding, empathy and confidence.
Many parents tell us our school is one of a kind. We are always striving to improve and raise standards. We believe that In order to be effective, education needs to be a partnership between home and school. We are aware that developing such relationships are the way forward – and children will flourish. We work together for the good of each child. We invite all parents to be part of this team.
